CURRENT POSITION (Government):

As a Contract Specialist / Contracting Officer, I perform the comprehensive stages of government contracting, ensuring that my actions are in compliance with all requirements of law, executive orders, regulations(e.g. FAR, DFARS, DLAD) And other applicable procedures.

General Duties:

Acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation results of solicitation, Analysis, negotiations and award purchase orders. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and (Procurement Regulations)

Contract Specialist

• Market Research  
• Assist in resolving supply planning issues
• Price reasonableness determination
• Create award modifications
• Working knowledge of the BSM procurement process
• Requires Interpersonal Skills deal inter office personnel and contractors
• Data Analysis of contract history, as it relates to supply and demand.

• Verify technical requirements of purchase requests
• Price negotiation
• Solve post award issues
• Working knowledge of the BSM procurement process
